The Northern Wild Comes to Town

In the old tongue, before the word softened into the one we use now, it was « úlvr ».

Not the villain of the story. Not the thing waiting in the trees to be feared. In Norse mythology, the wolf was never the monster it later became in other tellings — it was the guardian. The last of the pack to move when the others went ahead. The one who walked behind, watching the dark, so no one else had to. Its distance was never absence. It was the whole point.

ULVRN takes its name from that word. Everything we make starts from that same idea.

A guardian you wear

A wolf like that asks nothing of you and gives you everything anyway — warmth without weight, protection that never needs to be seen to be felt. That is what we believe a piece of knitwear should do for a person. Not decoration. Not a costume for the cold. A second skin that watches your back the way the old wolf watched the treeline — quietly, constantly, without asking to be thanked.

Every ULVRN piece is built on that same law: the fiber, the weight, the weave — all of it exists to guard the person wearing it. Protection, not performance.

From the wild, into town

ULVRN was born far from any city — in moss and pine, in ridgelines and glacial wind, among the last unbothered places the north still keeps for itself. That is where the collection was imagined, and that is what it carries with it now.

This September, ULVRN arrives in Oslo. Not as a brand inspired by nature — as something that has genuinely walked out of it. Quiet strength, honest craft, the kind of quality that doesn't raise its voice.

The wild has always known how to protect what matters. Now it's here to do the same for you.

Oslo — September.
